Fluir allows you to extend or top up active streaming contracts, providing flexibility to adjust token allocations as needed. This feature is useful for projects that need to increase the duration of a contract or add additional tokens to an ongoing stream without creating a new contract.
When to Use the Extend/Top-Up Feature
Increased Budget: Add more tokens if you have additional funds to allocate.
Contract Extensions: Extend the vesting duration if recipients need continued support or if project timelines are extended.
Bonuses & Incentives: Top up contracts to reward recipients with additional tokens.
Step-by-Step Guide to Extending or Topping Up a Contract
Step 1: Visit the Fluir Platform
👉 app.fluirfinance.xyz Log in to your account and navigate to the "Vesting" or "Payments" section.
Step 2: Access Your Active Contracts
Find the contract you wish to extend or top up. Click on the dropdown menu (three dots (...)) next to the contract to access more options.
Step 3: Select "Extend/Top-Up"
In the action menu, choose "Extend/Top-Up Contract". This will open a modal where you can adjust the contract details.
Step 4: Add Additional Tokens or Adjust Duration
Add Tokens: Specify the additional number of tokens to be allocated to the existing contract.
Extend Duration: Modify the vesting duration or unlock schedule if needed.
You can also adjust cliff settings if extending the contract duration.
Step 5: Review the Changes
A summary of your changes will be displayed. Review the updated token allocation, schedule, and any additional fees before proceeding.
Step 6: Confirm the Extension/Top-Up
Click "Confirm" to finalize the changes. Approve the transaction in your connected wallet. The contract will be updated immediately, and recipients will be notified of the changes if an email address was provided.
