A Complete Guide on Creating Vesting Contracts on the Fluir Platform
Updated recently Follow this step-by-step guide to create vesting contracts on Fluir and efficiently distribute tokens to stakeholders.
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet
Visit the Fluir platform:

Connect your wallet to start using the app. Fluir supports various wallets on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and more.
Step 2: Configure Token, Vesting Duration, and Unlock Schedule
Select the "Token" you want to vest from the available tokens in your wallet.
Set the Vesting Duration, which defines the total period of your contract.
Configure the Unlock Schedule to determine how often tokens will unlock (e.g., monthly, weekly).
Example: If you set a Vesting Duration of 1 year with a monthly Unlock Schedule, the recipient will receive tokens once per month.
Step 3: Set Cliff Time and Permissions
Schedule when the contract will begin. Choose to start immediately or set a future start date.
Add Cliff Amount to release a certain percentage of tokens with the first unlock. For instance, setting a cliff time release of 10% means 10% of the total vested tokens will be released as soon as the contract starts.
Enable Auto-Claim to automatically transfer unlocked tokens directly into the recipient’s wallet. The sender covers the transaction fees.
Configure who can cancel or transfer the contract, allowing flexibility in managing recipient addresses.
Step 4: Add Recipients and Vesting Details
Amount: Specify the number of tokens to be progressively unlocked.
Recipient Wallet Address: Ensure the wallet address is correct and connected to the correct blockchain network.
Contract Title: Optionally, add a title to identify the contract. This title will also be used in email notifications.
Recipient Email Address: Notifications about the contract (start date, unlock events) will be sent to this email. This is optional and can only be added during the contract setup.
To add multiple recipients, click "+ Add Recipient". Fluir allows up to 60-300 recipients per creation request (wallet-dependent). Each vesting contract will appear separately after creation.
Step 5: Review Your Contract
On the review page, confirm the details:
Number of recipients
Total tokens to be distributed
Fluir fees
Review the graphical representation to ensure everything matches your configuration.
Step 6: Create the Contract
When everything looks good, click on the 'Create Contract' button and approve the transaction in your wallet. Congratulations, you've just created your first vesting contract on Fluir! 🎉
Email Notifications
If you provided the recipient's email address, they will receive notifications with all the contract details. They will also be alerted whenever tokens are unlocked and transferred to their wallet.
