Fluir offers a powerful and flexible platform for managing progressive, automated payments. You can unlock payments to employees, freelancers, service providers, and contractors based on your custom requirements.

Let’s walk through the step-by-step process of setting up payroll contracts using Fluir.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

First, visit the Fluir platform:

Connect your wallet to start using the platform. Fluir supports multiple wallet providers like Metamask, Solflare, Phantom, and more. Once connected, navigate to the "Payments" section and click on "Create New" to get started.

Step 2: Choose Token, Unlock Frequency, and Start Date

Select the token you want to use for the payment contract and set the unlock frequency.

• The "Unlock Schedule" determines how often the locked tokens in the contract will be released.

• You can either start the contract immediately or schedule it for a future date.

Step 3: Advanced Settings

Take advantage of Auto-Claim to automatically transfer unlocked tokens directly into recipients’ wallets. This saves recipients the hassle of manual claims. Note that the sender covers the transaction fees for this feature.

Additionally, configure:

• Contract Cancellation: Specify whether the sender can cancel the contract.

• Transferability: Allow recipients to transfer and change the recipient address if needed.

Step 4: Add Recipients and Payment Details

Input the amount to be sent and the recipient’s wallet address. You can also:

• Add a title for the contract to help organize your payment streams.

• Optionally, include the recipient's email address to enable notifications about contract updates.

Step 5: Review the Contract

Before finalizing, review the payment configuration to ensure everything is correct. The review page provides a graphical representation of your contract, along with key details such as:

• Number of recipients

• Total amount of tokens to be distributed

• Fluir’s service fees

This overview allows you to confirm that the contract aligns with your expectations.

Step 6: Create the Payment Contract

When you’re ready, click on the 'Create Contract' button and approve the transaction in your connected wallet. Congratulations—you’ve just created your first payment contract on Fluir!

Email Notifications

If you provided the recipient's email address during the contract setup, they’ll receive an email with all the details of the payment stream. Additionally, they’ll be notified whenever unlocked funds are transferred into their wallet.

Please note that adding the recipient's email address is optional and can only be done during the initial contract creation.
